Upcoming Programs

Chinese New Year Sunday January 22nd from 2-4pm.  Celebrate the year of the dragon! Bring the whole family for crafts, games and food.

Musical Instrument Petting Zoo Sunday February 5th from 4-6pm. All ages are invited to join Concord Community Music School and their traveling zoo.  Listen to demos and have fun trying the musical instruments yourself!

Valentine Craft Thursday February 9th from 3:15-4pm. Create your own edible candy masterpiece.  Ages 6 and up.  Registration required.

Comics Workshop Sunday February 26th from 4-6pm. Graphic novelist Marek Bennett will guide participants (grades 6 and up, adults welcome) in how to lay out and begin their own comics.  Registration required.

Doll Tea Party Wednesday February 29th from 1-2pm.  Treats, "tea" and a fun project!  Bring a favorite doll and a tea cup.  K-4th Grade.  Registration required.

Avian Adventures Sunday March 18 from 4-5pm. Come learn about NH birds and visit with a live raptor from NH Audubon.  For all ages.

Edible Book Fair April 1 from 2-4pm (Open House). Get creative in the kitchen and make your own version of an edible book.  Google "edible books" or check out pictures from our 2009 Edible Books program.  Or, just come, check out the display!  For all ages.

Ongoing Programs

Story Time is a preschool (ages 3-5) program of stories, poems, songs and crafts offered on Tuesdays at 1pm and Wednesdays at 10:30am.  Each program is approximately 1 hour long.

Lap Time is for children ages 2 and younger accompanied by a caregiver, and is offered on Fridays at 10:30am.  Each program will run 20-30 minutes.

No registration is required for story times.

Read with Ben Come read to Ben, a beautiful Shetland Sheepdog who is a great listener!  Sign up for 10 minutes of reading - all ages welcome.  Call the library for more information or to sign up.
