The Foster Barnard house by Mrs. Foster Barnard   Horace Chase Stanley, great-grandfather of Horace C. Stanley of Contoocook, built this house sometime between 1840 and 1860. His son, Edward W. Stanley and wife, Mary Clough Stanley, lived here many years.   In March 1945 Foster and Helen Barnard purchased the Stanley home after many occupants, They have lived here for nearly thirty years with their four children, Robert, Mary-Jane, Christine and Richard.   Mrs. Foster Barnard Maple Street
