Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a primary service that supports the mission of the Hopkinton Town Library by providing enhanced access to library materials and information. ILL allows us to borrow materials not available at the Hopkinton Town Library and to provide material from our collection to other libraries.
This service is offered to all patrons holding a valid library card from the Hopkinton Town Library. ILL items are delivered by the NH State Library from libraries across New Hampshire. ILL saves towns money by allowing NH libraries to share materials. It also helps ensure equal access to information for all New Hampshire residents.
Generally, we can request items through ILL if they are more than 6 months old. Newer items will be considered for possible purchase for the HTL collection.
